Camping in Fish Creek

Fish Creek Primitive Camp makes an excellent base camp for exploring Fish Creek Wash, Split Mountain Gorge, the Wind Caves, Elephant Knees and other spectacular geological formations. Because of the rocky road and occasional soft sand at the entrance road, the campground is best for tents and pickup campers. The road is changeable during bad weather.
