BRAG is an acronym for the Borrego Rock And Gem Club.
Love rocks? This is the club for you!
Got rock? This club is for people who want to learn about rocks and participate in rockhounding field trips. The club has been rocking since February 2003.
Field trips are on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (between October and May), usually starting at 9 a.m. and taking most of the day. We meet in the ABDNHA parking lot and carpool to a rock-collecting site.
Meetings are on the 4th Wednesday of the month (between October and May) at 2 p.m. in the ABDNHA Activity Room, 652 Palm Canyon Drive. We plan field trips & activities, discuss the “rock of the month,” and bring rocks for show & tell!
